Even here in Northern Vermont! Cranking on the quilt squares again. Thinking about eggs and mud.

Our cat RC likes to kill. He does not ingest. This past summer I finally decided to honor these dead by memorializing with images. Above and beyond compost.

falling barbie/ dead bird & flowers

I'm having quite a lot of fun with this collection. This potholder is also oversized. I paired a plastic doll with a bird that our cat killed last summer. (We tried putting a bell on him but then he ran away for a few days.) Also hollyhocks.

gynecological potholder

This one is extra large- about 11" x 11". Perfect for grabbing those oversized pots.

self-portrait/ dead chipmunk

Potholder II has a self-portrait on one side and a chipmunk killed by RC on the other. Here it is modeled by Sammy wearing apron with photo pockets.
